A DAY

Schedule for the week of 3/1-3/5

Monday, 3/1- 6th grade in person students will be attending school. 7th & 8th grade will be remote. We will be following a shortened schedule: 8:30am -12:25pm. It will be a B day.

Tuesday, 3/2- All grades will be attending school from 8:35am-3:12pm. It will be an A day.

Wednesday, 3/3- All grades will be attending school from 8:35am-3:12pm. It will be a B day.

Thursday, 3/4 -All grades will be attending school from 8:35am-3:12pm. It will be an A day.

Friday, 3/5 -All grades will be attending school from 8:35am-3:12pm. It will be a B day.

HEALTH SCREENINGS

All students will be receiving the health screening on Mondays.

FALL SPORTS SIGN UP

The Family ID window is open for MS fall sports for 7th and 8th graders.

Signup information can be found on the ENMS home page.

The new fall season for MS sports begins Monday March 22, 2021 and ends May 8, 2021.

Sports that will be offered are: Boys and Girls Cross Country; Boys and Girls Soccer; Field Hockey; Football; Girls Tennis.

Family ID registration will close on Wednesday, March 10th.

Football is considered a high-risk sport and students will have to provide a consent form for weekly COVID testing. The consent form is available to download here. Forms will also be available in the main office and at the greeter's desk. These forms need to be handed in to the coach the first day or practice in order to participate.

REMOTE STUDENTS SCHOOL PICTURES

If your child is a remote student and had their picture taken, pictures can be picked up from the greeters’ desk during school hours. If you have any questions, call the main office.

COAT DRIVE

Student Council is having a Coat Drive. There will be a box in the lobby until March 1st.

YEARBOOK

8TH GRADERS: Join the yearbook Google classroom. Email Ms. Gold or Ms. Karkota for the class code. We are asking for candids of you and your friends, what your learning set-up looks like at home, and any pictures of you participating in activities and sports outside of school. If you have any questions, see Ms. Gold or Ms. Karkota.

Go to www.yearbookforever.com to order your yearbook. The price is $59.00.

DISTRICT WIDE FOOD DRIVE

ENMS is taking part in a district wide food drive to help stock the shelves of Ramon's Pantry, the Northport-East Northport Food Pantry located at the high school. We have been asked to focus on paper goods such as toilet paper, paper towels, napkins and tissues, but will gladly accept all donations. Boxes will be located in the main lobby until March 1st. As always, we appreciate your generosity!

LIBRARY

Please return all Library books that you have at home to the ENMS Library. They can be from your elementary library as well. Thank you so much! From Mrs. Albanese, your ENMS librarian.

HIGH SCHOOL FLAGLINE TEAM

Any 8th grader interested in auditioning for the 2020-2021 High School Flagline Team, please join us for our auditions next week! Learn the routine from March 2nd-5th from 6-8pm virtually. Email Ms. Giglio to join our google classroom. Auditions will be held in person on Friday March 6th beginning at 4pm. We look forward to meeting you! TUESDAY

Knitty Gritty will meet on Tuesdays at 4:00pm. Email Ms. Matteson for the Google Classroom code.

Reading Cafe will meet on Tuesdays at 4:00pm. Email Mrs. Albanese for the classroom code.

Student Council will meet virtually every Tuesday at 4:30, unless otherwise noted.

THURSDAY

Art Club will meet on Thursdays from 4-5pm. Email Mrs. Galway for the classroom code.

Writers Club will meet on Thursdays from 4-5pm. Email Mrs. MaGinn for the classroom code.

FRIDAY

Computer Club will meet on Fridays at 4pm. Email Mr. Colfer for the class code.

YDA/ HUNTINGTON YOUTH BUREAU

·        NEW YDA CRAFT PROGRAM - .SPRING INSPIRATIONS: show off your creativity and spring flair to make four special crafts including a St. Patrick’s Day wreath, macramé rainbow wall art, a vertical succulent garden, and a spring gumball “machine”. Program costs: $65 includes and all materials. Call Jennifer Scofield at 261-7901 to register.

·        YDA Paint Night – Join YDA for a fun night of painting to PAINT YOUR PET! (Friday March 26th 6-8:30PM - $45) register by Thursday March12th to save your spot! Don’t miss out on creating a custom pet portrait perfect to keep or gift!
