  • Congratulations to our Northport Tigerette Dance Team for receiving 2nd place in Jazz and 3rd place in Pom at their first ever Scholastic Dance Competition this weekend!  Way to Sparkle & Shine Ladies!!

  • The National Junior Honor Society is having a bake sale TODAY after school from 3:00 to 4:00 PM in the Commons! They will be supporting "Friends of Andrew,” a group that buys and delivers presents for children who are staying in local pediatric cancer wards in our hospitals. 

  • There is a Project Tolerance meeting today in room L127 at 3:00 , come and help us with upcoming projects! All are welcome and bring a friend!! 

  • There is an Art Honor Society meeting tomorrow at 3:00 pm - room A109. Please come to this meeting if you want to be in the yearbook photo- new and old members please! 

  • There will be a yearbook meeting tomorrow in room K203 at 3:00

  • Attention students going on the April Spain Trip: There will be a an important parent and student informational meeting tomorrow from 8:15 PM to 9:00 PM in the Little Theater

  • Save the date for the cheese festival that the French, Italian, Spanish and Multicultural Club is hosting on Wednesday in the small cafeteria from 3 to 4pm. Free for members and only $2 for non-members to attend. Bring a friend and your appetite!

  • The GSA will be hosting a bake sale on Wednesday after school in the Commons.  Proceeds from the bake sale will benefit the Trinity Place Shelter for LGBTQ homeless youth.  Please stop by!  Your purchase goes to a great cause!

  • There will be a PE leaders meeting Wednesday after school in PE 107 to finalize battle of the classes, all are welcome!  Any questions see Mr. Lynch or Mrs. Gipp in the PE department.  

  • The Academy of Finance will be holding their Open House/Information Session Wednesday at 6:30 PM in the Small Cafeteria. Parents & 9th Grade students please come and learn about the nuances of the program and how to apply. Put Stock in your future and invest in your education. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Schwabish, Room S-212.

  • There will be a mandatory meeting of the New York City Club on Thursday morning at 7:35 in H241 only for those students attending our trip on Saturday December 15th.

  • The Art and Literature Magazine will Thursday in K-201 at 3:00. We will be having a holiday party so be sure to come celebrate with us.

  • The Battle of the Classes has begun.  Please bring in a new unwrapped toy for the Marines Toys for Tots drive and put it into your grade level bin in the commons - On December 13th the gifts will be counted and the class with the most gifts wins 10 points - Help support the Marines in their efforts and your class!!  Any questions see Mr. Slagle

  • There will be a brief meeting of the Debate Club on Friday after school in H241.

  • LAST CALL! December 14 is the last day to apply for Art Honor Society! Please visit A109- and speak to Ms. Wolf to see if you qualify!

  • The Multicultural Club will be making gingerbread houses on Monday, December 17th from 3:00 to 4:30 in room H101.  If you are interested, please RSVP to Ms. Mollica or Ms. Contreras as soon as possible.  We will be listening to holiday music and discussing holidays around the world as we decorate!  We hope to see you there!

  • Project Tolerance has a mitten tree set up in the commons through December 17. Help us help those in need in our community by donating mittens, gloves, hats and socks for children and adults in the community.  Bring in a pair of mittens and hang them on the tree!

  • The Counseling Center will be hosting a field trip to Wilson Tech on Tuesday, December 18th.  Any 10th or 11th grade students interested in exploring one of the many available programs at Tech are invited.  Field trip cards are available in the counseling center, and must be completed and returned no later than Tuesday, December 11th. No exceptions will be made.  There are limited spots available, so please complete your field trip card as quickly as possible to ensure your spot on the trip.  If you would like any further information, please see your counselor.
